About Spoony's

The name Spoony’s came from a friend that has now passed away. We started our business out of a tent only selling fish sandwiches and chicken wings. Business began to grow, so we decided that we needed a bigger place to serve the community, which is now Spoony’s. The menu has also changed from just chicken and fish. We now have added our signature Pineapple Tea, gumbo, philly cheesesteaks, and many more tasty items.
In our current location, we have worked hard to improve the look and feel of Spoony’s. We want our customers to feel welcomed when they walk in and happy when they walk out. We want our food to always be served fresh and hot as our customers enjoy listening to the awesome music from our old school playlist. “Good Food Good Time” is our mission and that’s the vibe we intend to continue to create for our customers.
As we make our way through Covid, we will continue to grow and improve by keeping a staff that will always welcome new faces and continue to put a smile on the old ones.

"Great little place, only open Thursday-Sunday. First visit, had the catfish plate. The fish was terrific. Ran into a friend of mine there who said they have the best wings around. The people working there where super friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back, probably add it to our regular lunch rotation."

"This place is a family owned restaurant and they treat you like family, too. We came through here because we heard great reviews about their philly sandwiches. These sandwiches did not disappoint at all-- they tasted better than phillys from Philadelphia! It was super tasty! Plus, their sides were great too. We got mashed potatoes and gravy, a side with chicken, rice, cheese, and broccoli, cabbage, and mac n cheese. Needless to say, we will be stopping here again and again!"

"Great place to stop and get some southern food. I love their philly cheese steak and their pineapple tea. I normally buy a half gallon whenever I stop by. I've not heard a bad thing about any of the dishes on the menu. Only downsides are small amount of seating and sometimes the food is slow. The seating is rarely an issue though. This is an amazing restaurant run by great people."

"Just heard about this place a few gays ago and decided to go check it out. I got the catfish, my wife got the BLT, my youngest got a cheeseburger and my other two got the chicken strip snack. I have to say I was definitely surprised at how good it was. The catfish was the best I have had in years! The kids loved the chicken strip snack and the portion size was comparable to most restaurants dinner portion. My kids have already asked when we are going back and already know what they are going to try next. The one thing I was disappointed in was they were all out of their pineapple tea which I was looking forward to trying. Maybe next time though... because I will be returning!"
